Corral Gulch
Firewise® Community

The Corral Gulch Community became an officially recognized Firewise® Community in 2021. The Forest Service and Oregon Department of Forestry did home ignition zone assessments in the Corral Gulch Community in that spring. Soon after, Corral Gulch Community was heavily impacted by the Canyon Creek Complex Fire.

Only one homeowner was not interested in implementing recommendations made during the assessments. That home was the only one in Corral Gulch that burned during the Canyon Creek Complex fire.
